Service Description
We offer a standalone boiler repair service, endorsed by our 5* customer reviews. Unfortunately, there are many rogue engineers (or even big firms) that lure you into changing your boiler or charge you for replacing non-faulty components as a means to raise their revenue. London Heating Expert, on the other hand, prides itself on expertise, honesty and transparency in its diagnosis. This is evident in our online reviews. Here you are booking for the initial diagnosis session. A minimum charge of £95 or £150 (depending on the time of service) applies to every diagnostic session, which has to be paid in advance. Call Outs before 8pm are charged £95. After 8pm, a surcharge of £55 applies. The estimated/exact cost of the repair and parts will be determined based on the results of the diagnosis. What you are booking for and paying here is the call out fee and 30 minutes of diagnosis time. Most faults are quickly identified within this time and the engineer will be able to advise you of the cost of repair. Occasionally, depending on the complexity of the fault, it may take longer to diagnose the problem. Should the engineer need to spend any extra time during this diagnosis session, this will be charged at £100/hour. You'll have the option to specify the maximum number of hours that you'd be willing to pay for the engineer to investigate on the matter. Please also note that, many boiler breakdowns can be fixed without the need for replacement parts. In such cases, the diagnosis session and any additional time spent on the same visit may be effectively used to repair the boiler on the same session. In any case, if your boiler cannot be fixed or is deemed beyond economic repair, we offer your diagnosis fee as credit towards replacing your boiler with us.








Cancellation Policy
For cancellations, please contact us at least 48h in advance to avoid loss of your service job deposit. Rescheduling, however, can be arranged up to 24h prior to the scheduled service date, without loss of your securing deposit.
