All rental properties in London are required to undergo an annual inspection of their gas appliances to ensure they operate safely, protecting the wellbeing of their tenants. While homeowners are not legally obligated to have this yearly inspection, it is highly recommended as it helps safeguard everyone in the household. A gas safety certificate includes checking the dwelling's gas pipes for leaks and ensuring that all gas appliances safely and correctly burn and vent combustion products. London Heating Expert currently provides inspections for gas boilers and gas cookers, ovens, and hobs as part of this service. The inspection of 1 x gas boiler and 1 x gas cooker/oven/hob is included in the price. At present time, we do not offer inspection of any other gas appliances such as gas fires. For greater value, consider combining this inspection with an annual boiler service. You can add a boiler service to your booking for an additional £50 during checkout. Additionally, new building regulations require that a working Carbon Monoxide (CO) alarm is installed in rental properties. If you don’t already have a CO alarm, you can add one to your booking for just £30 extra at checkout. For inspection of additional gas boilers and/or cooker/oven/hobs in the same booking, an additional charge of £50/appliance applies.
